Friends, I hope that you will join me in congratulating Crystal in taking this HUGE step in her life. Many of us know how hard it was to buy our first home and how nice it would have been to get a little help from our friends and family. If Crystal's story speaks to you and you can spare $1, $5, or whatever, I hope that you would consider contributing to her campaign. For every $1 Crystal raises my company, CMG Financial, will contribute $2 up to $2500. This is awesome! HomeFundMe is a wonderful program to help people realize their dream of owning their own home. #CMGHampstead #HomeFundMe #CMGFinancial

Operation Buy My First Home

My Story

I'm not typically comfortable asking for help, but we all could use a little help from time to time and we shouldn't be too proud to ask for it! So friends, family & co-workers I'm asking for your help on this one!  My name is Crystal, I am 35 years old, and I've decided to make the dive into adulthood and purchase my very first home! I've lived in Wilmington, NC for the past 13 years, and as much fun as apartment living has been, I've decided to put my hard earned money into something that I get to call my own, instead of putting it in someone elses pocket. I need to be out of my current apartment on September 4th, so that gives me about 70 days to get my down payment together.I've been working 2 retail jobs tirelessly to support myself these last 13 years and unfortunately it hasn't allowed me to stash away very much money for a down payment and closing costs. Thanks to the mortgage broker I'm working with, she has shared with me this new and exciting program called homefundme. For every $1 that is donated to my down payment fund, homefundme lenders will contribute $2. So a $20 contribution equals $60 after being matched. How awesome is that!? Your funds are securely deposited into an escrow holding account and are wired to the seller when I close on my house. I know this is asking a lot, and like I said before I hate asking for help(especially when it comes to money) but I would so appreciate any amount you could donate to help me get my very first home. It means the world to me that so many people are behind me in this new venture in my life.  Thanks in advance from the bottom of my heart. xoxo
