Keely and I first met in high school, when we both swam for a competitive swim club in Nashville (fun fact: we both hated it). Although we didn’t swim in the same circles, we reconnected after college through that almighty matchmaker, Tinder. Over the course of a year doing long-distance, we realized our mutual love of foodie culture, active lifestyles, and helping others. We soon fell in love and took a major leap of faith by moving to Utah together for Keely to pursue her PhD. Since then, we have only grown closer and happier, especially with the newest edition to our little family, Merle the Pup (see our Photos for a cuteness overload). We've weathered allergic reactions, asthma attacks, migraines, sprained ankles, tornadoes, earthquakes, and (so far) COVID-19, and have made their commitment to live our lives, together, to the fullest. As two people completely devoted to serving others and each other, we hope to make the world a bit brighter through criminal justice reform and improving the lives of children in need of mental and behavioral support.
It would mean the world to us if you'd donate to our Home Campaign. We are hoping to raise the needed funds by the end of August, before our wedding, but nevertheless in preparation as we begin our life together as a married couple. Salt Lake City is where we want our home to be for the foreseeable future and we are so excited to put down roots here. We'd be so grateful if you helped make this dream of ours a reality.
