Creating a new future

Most people who know me know that I have never considered buying a home and that I love living in my apartment in Cambridge, MA.  I still love my neighborhood, and I still enjoy so many things about renting, but in the past few years, I keep having this vision of living in a cozy cottage with outdoor space that is my own, where I can gather family and good friends and create community.  And, I continue to not take action.  

At my company, we have this new First-time homebuying program, which I actually manage, and I thought - what better way to get in action then to participate in this program provided by my work community and to reach out to my friend and family community for support.

Community creating community!  That's what I want any place I own to be about -- connection and community.
