I have always been in a career which served customers and people in general. I started out as a Registered Nurse and worked in a multispecialty Clinic in Elkhart, Indiana. After moving to Colorado in 1996, I was Program Director of Home Health Care in Greeley, Colorado then Director of Homecare and Hospice in Estes Park, Colorado. While working in Estes Park, I opened The Stitchin’ Den (20 years ago) which is a 5000 square foot retail shop for supplies for knitting, quilting, needlework and more. I retired from nursing but continue to own the shop in Estes Park. My dad served in the Navy during World War II, and he taught me how important it is to give back to the community, work hard, always follow the Golden Rule and pay it forward. Being part of Sentry Residential and Nanci Garnand’s team allows me to work with a company who believes in the same things I do. We work with all clients but specialize in working with Veterans. Sentry Residential is not just a job I go to. It allows me to spend my time helping people with one of their biggest and most important purchase(s) of their lives. Problem solving is what I am good at and love to do. Helping people through their real estate journeys is satisfying as I get to make the process go as smoothly as possible and eliminate any stress that I can.
