My Dream Home in Old Town Alexandria

I am beyond excited to be buying my first home! Nearly 12 years ago, at just 23 years old, I left my hometown of New York and moved to the DMV, stepping out on faith and following where my heart was calling in that season. 

Virginia became the backdrop of my early adulthood, a place where I built community, explored new interests, began my career, launched a business, and stepped into my mental health advocacy work.

Now, I’m stepping into another meaningful chapter by making Virginia the place where I purchase my first home.  After renting a condo in Old Town Alexandria for the past few years, I now have the opportunity to purchase it. Old Town is quaint, historic, and full of charm, and living here has been such a blessing! From sunrise walks along cobblestone streets to journaling by the Potomac and admiring the timeless row houses, this place has offered me space to grow, reflect, and feel rooted. 

The pictures above are some of my favorite moments while walking through Old Town.
